Man these look great. Does anyone where an unreal customs cowl can be purchased, I would love to pair it with my original Batman Begins release.
I had the pleasure to paint an OT one for a customer and it's a great sculpt, now that I have received my not-so-shiny HT Begins, I'm thinking about trying one of the versions Dean Tolliver has developed 🤔

What did you do to the body at 12:19 ? Ruined it trying to clean it?
Oh yea, now that you show the picture they got that more aggressive expression spot on and does look like Bale.
The OT Customs looks better, I think the likeness is much better. But the expressions are so different that it’s hard to compare them. It’s just the shape of the lips on the OT customs looks exactly like Bale.
These are the two best 1:6 Batman figures I’ve ever seen 😮, that’s no coincidence either, Hot Toys are not even close after how many rereleases ??
I wish we could tell which variant of the body we get. I've purposely held off from picking up the Hot Toys Begins suit due to the gloss, but I'd definitely do it if i knew I was getting this variant. Great video as always, Dean!
The OT Customs head is the most accurate I think we'll ever get in 1/6 scale. Unreal sculpt is more stylized but perfect for that scene specific shot it's based on. Waiting on my OT cowl and cape. The Hot Toys cowl is an abomination.

Both sculpts are excellent. It's very difficult to choose a favourite. At the end of the day, I suppose it's not a case of which is better, but what look you prefer.
My guess is that Hot Toys made some adjustments for the later batches of their BB figure. I don't recall seeing any early reviews of the figure not looking shiny. My BvS Batman is a lighter shade of grey than yours, so again, I'd put this down to Hot Toys tweaking things for the later batches.
I can confirm this. Just got my Batman Begins and my suit is matte. I did not know that there are variations so I just thought people online were overpicky for calling it shiny or put too much light on it. And also yes, I love your custom headsculpts.
Okay Dean right away You need to tell me how I can get a hold of one of those head sculpts. I've been thinking about picking up another Batman begins but I was very hesitant because of the head being so big. If you can point me in the direction to get one of these awesome heads. Message me on IG.

Well, ya did it again. What amazing Batman figures! Since the Begins is for sure one of my favorites, I really appreciate your efforts to get THE figure of him in hand. Those heads rock also. I am astounded at how much more it looks right with that shorter neck. For the moment, mine is the longer Hot Toys neck, but it sort of giraffes once I look at your figures. I must get at least ONE of those nice customs. OT is sort of taking me at the moment. That other Unreal one is more badass though. The angle of the face from the side… Damn man, congrats. I really appreciate your zeal on this. Keep it up! 😉👍 (PS: That Man with No Name Clint Eastwood ROCKS!!!)
Both Batman Begins head sculpts look absolutely amazing. Solid work by OT Customs and Unreal Toys. They obviously put a lot of love, care and passion into their work.
